How does it work?

How does it work?

Phosphates
Phosphate supplements are one of the most interesting supplements available for endurance athletes, since they can have a fast and dramatic effect on VO2Max (essentially the best marker of your capacity to use oxygen to produce energy). The Viper Turbo phosphate supplement blend has been demonstrated to boost maximal oxygen uptake by 10% in less than a week [1, 2]. Perhaps the biggest benefit of this is the fact that this effect can generally be attained through five to six weeks of intense training, compared to Viper Turbo which may achieve the effect with no extra training. Phosphate supplements have been shown to elicit lower relative lactic acid levels during intense exercise (indicating enhanced aerobic metabolism) and reduce 40 kilometre run times by three minutes or more. Many of the most effective endurance supplements are based on phosphates.

L-Carnitine
L-Carnitine is an amino acid with an array of bio-chemical effects, including mood modulation, mental focus and anabolic hormone support. However, L-Carnitine displays particular impact as a promoter of lipid oxidation, with very beneficial implications for endurance capacity. Essentially, by eliciting fat oxidation, carnitine spares muscle glycogen, meaning you'll delay fatigue and the dreaded 'wall' will come later in your event. As an additional benefit, Carnitine has been proven to reduce delayed onset muscle soreness one to two days following exercise, with 50% less muscle damage compared to a control (reduced muscle purines, free-radical activity and tissue micro-tearing) [3].

CoQ10
Viper Turbo has been specifically designed for all endurance performers - including distance runners, cyclists, triathletes, footballers and rugby players. As such, it contains CoQ10, a micronutrient that displays properties that may boost performance in all of these disciplines. CoQ10 is a critical nutrient, and levels of the nutrient become lower with aging and some degenerative diseases. CoQ10 is an energy potentiating substance, found in rich concentration in cell mitochondria, where is functions to aid oxygen utilisation. A cutting-edge study has recently highlighted the benefits of the substance in a group of elite cross country skiers (one of the most demanding forms of exercise in existence) [4]. During 6 weeks of heavy training, the skiers were either supplemented with CoQ10 or a placebo pill. The CoQ10 group displayed 300% greater increases in Vo2Max, compared to placebo subjects, at the end of the training period. Furthermore, CoQ10 may also help protect you from the risk of over-training. In the skiers not consuming CoQ10, several displayed a reduced Vo2MAX, a recognised sign over over-training syndrome. At the other end of the spectrum, 90% of the CoQ10 group reported positive effects of supplementation, while 70% reported a beneficial effect on recovery and performance.

DMG
DMG speeds up the removal of lactic acid from your body. This allows for faster recovery, fewer aches and pains, and improved training performance. Soviet scientific literature also shows increased oxygen utilization by muscle, improvements in explosive speed, and protection against damage to the connective tissue surrounding joints.


How do I use it?

Take 4 capsules first thing in the morning and another 4 at around 2pm. Take every day for 3 days before your event. A dose of 4 capsules at breakfast, lunch and dinner can be taken every day during intense training or competition.


What results can I expect?

Athletes using the Viper Turbo endurance supplement generally notice a rapid (after 3 days) increase in stamina, a reduction in feelings of fatigue and tiredness during a race or training session, and more energy throughout the day.
